Aruba's signature carnival sound — original tumba compositions battle for the season's anthem.
Tumba is the heartbeat of Aruba's Carnival. Each year composers and performers present original songs, and one of them becomes the anthem the whole island sings until Ash Wednesday.
The festival features the adult division, with the youth and children's editions held separately earlier in the season.
Entries must include lyrics, arrangement details and a demo recording as described in the official tumba form.
